Many guys, including talented ones who do well with any study assignments, quickly grasp the essence and think that they perfectly understand what needs to be done. They move on, focus on the details, and when they arrive two days later (good) or a week later (worse), it turns out that the code they’ve created isn’t working or isn’t working as expected.
So feel free to ask questions. Unfortunately, in our schools and universities, people get used to it: if you ask something, everyone thinks that you do not understand anything. But at work, it is critically important to clarify everything, even seemingly obvious details. No one will laugh at this, colleagues will willingly tell you everything.
