Tool Review – OmmWriter Dana – Writers Rejoice!

Introducing OmmWriter Dāna from herraizsoto&co on Vimeo.

The Agile Scout has been a huge fan of the first version of OmmWriter that came out for the Mac a while ago. Now they’re back and better than ever with Dana.

Straight from them:

“OmmWriter Dana is a humble attempt to recapture what technology has snatched away from us today: our capacity to concentrate. If you are a scriptwriter, blogger, journalist, copywriter, poet or just someone who enjoys writing, welcome back to concentrating.”

See our screen captures after the jump.

Holy cow! Is that all you see when you write? Yes sir. The best part about this writing platform is that you can write in complete peace with nothing else added. Just text. Simple right?

Need to change the background or music while you type? OmmWriter allow you to subtly change these amenities.

Writers rejoice! This application (Mac only) is perfect for writing, blogging, or note taking, in complete peace. Totally Agile Scout approved and totally free. We are power users of this tool!

  1. I was not so much interested in listening music while I work, but now I surprise myself starting Ommwriter many times with the sole intention to hear its music. It’s fantastic, inspirating, emotive, but at the same time, its not intrussive into my workflow. Now I found it on iTunes. For those who are interested in this awesome soundtrack, the album’s name is “Typewritten” (composer: David Ummmo)
