Agile Transformation Walkthrough

What I love about being an Enterprise Agile Coach is the ability to work with great clients who not only love Agile, but have fully transformed their entire business around it.

The video above is an example walkthrough of a business that I had the pleasure of completing an Agile transformation with. The transformation included:

Want to know the most rewarding thing about this client engagement? The fact that they embraced Agile so much, they are now teaching Agile to their clients. Talk about awesome!

Nice accomplishment! Spread the knowledge is good but if you make other to spread it for you you reach even more people with great success stories.

One of the most encouraging aspects of this engagement was the fact that they really owned “Agile” and taught their clients. That’s a total win!

Solid Earth has been transformed. Peter’s vision and guidance have been, I believe, just the catalyst to push us into the next new fertile field of profit and influence in our industry.

Agile has touched every aspect of our business and molded a company of individuals into a true team. Here we go!

Thanks Peter and hope to see you again soon.

Having been a client of Solid Earth since 2004, I can tell you I’ve never seen such a positive change in such a short period of time. This process has taken a great company and made it even better.

I have to admit, when first introducing the Agile process to us at the annual user group meeting this year, several of us were scratching our heads. But, more and more, Solid Earth clients are adopting this and sharing it with those we support.

I’m looking forward to the great things coming from Solid Earth and I know that Agile plays a big part in it!

Not all of us embrace it. Extroverted non-programmers may enjoy it, but for the more introverted of us who prefer to specialize in what we do best – programming – and let others specialize in what they do best, it’s a huge challenge to be subjected to daily standups, full day meetings, “we are a team” mantras, forced-fun gameification and endless walls of Post-It notes.

I am wondering however, whether it would be a good idea to purchase stock in 3M.

Thanks for your candidness Joe, I appreciate it.
I would say though, that continual improvement on self is absolutely crucial to life.
If we aren’t growing (personally and professionally) then why are we living?

I’m guessing it depends on who you desire to be:
